Terms of Service
Conditions for using the Rittis Alpin Chalets website, its enquiry forms, guest account and connected online services.

Back to Data ProtectionOperator and scope
This website is operated by Rittisbergblick Hotel GmbH, Rittis Alpin Chalets Dachstein, Vorberg 613–618, 8972 Ramsau am Dachstein, Austria. Contact: [email protected], +43 3687 21705-0. These terms explain use of the website and its digital functions. A stay, voucher, restaurant service or other purchase is additionally governed by the terms presented and agreed for that particular transaction. These website terms do not replace an existing booking confirmation or impose a new cancellation fee.
Information, prices and availability
Descriptions, photographs, seasonal information and calculator results help you plan a stay. A calculator estimate depends on the selected dates, accommodation, occupancy, children’s ages and extras. Taxes, cleaning, breakfast and pets are included or shown separately according to the selected tariff and breakdown. If a night is outside published price periods, the total is available on request; this is not a zero-price offer. Selecting a date does not reserve accommodation or confirm availability. The binding price, included services and applicable conditions are those agreed during booking or confirmed in the hotel’s offer and acceptance. If an apparent error affects an offer, contact us so it can be clarified under applicable law.
Enquiries and formation of a booking
Sending an enquiry requests information or an offer and does not itself complete a booking. Enter accurate contact details, dates and guest information so we can respond correctly. A booking becomes binding through the acceptance and confirmation process applicable to the chosen booking channel; follow the confirmation and payment instructions shown there. If you do not receive an expected confirmation, contact the hotel rather than assuming that a reservation has been made. Keep the offer, confirmation and any agreed amendments for your records.
Payments, changes and cancellation
Deposits, payment deadlines, changes, cancellation charges, no-show conditions and refunds depend on the rate and conditions agreed for your booking or purchase. Check them before confirming. A cancellation request should identify the booking and be sent through the agreed channel or directly to the hotel; retain the response. For accommodation booked for specified dates or a specified period, the general distance-contract withdrawal right is excluded under section 18(1)(10) of the Austrian FAGG. This does not remove a cancellation right agreed with the hotel or other mandatory rights. No general cancellation percentage or deadline is created by this page.
Guest account and access links
Use an email address you control and keep sign-in links and account access private. Do not attempt to access another person’s information or use the account for impersonation. Guest access covers the functions offered to that account and does not grant hotel administration rights. Sign-in does not by itself subscribe you to marketing. You can request account deletion by contacting the hotel. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse or a security incident, taking applicable contractual and statutory rights into account.
Notifications, email and chat
Optional subscriptions can be managed or withdrawn using the notification settings or the unsubscribe route provided in email. Essential replies about your enquiry or booking are separate from marketing subscriptions. Delivery depends on the email service, browser, device permissions and network; a delivery or opening signal is not proof that you read a message. Chat and automated assistance can provide guidance but do not change a booking, guarantee availability or replace an individual confirmation unless the relevant action is explicitly confirmed through the appropriate service.
Acceptable use and website content
Use the website lawfully and in a way that respects other users. Do not submit spam, malicious code or deliberately false requests, bypass access controls, interfere with operation, or collect personal information without a lawful basis. You may read and save information for planning your own visit. Texts, photographs, graphics, trademarks and other protected content remain subject to the rights of their respective owners; permission may be required for commercial reuse or redistribution. These terms do not restrict uses permitted by mandatory law.
Third-party services and links
Online booking, payment, voucher, map, social-network, restaurant and other external services may operate on separate domains and under their own conditions and privacy notices. Check which provider you are dealing with before entering information or confirming a transaction. A link does not mean that the hotel controls all content or technical operation of that service. Contact the hotel for questions about a hotel booking; questions about a separate provider’s account or payment service may also need to be addressed to that provider.
Availability, responsibility and consumer rights
We maintain the website with reasonable care, but functions may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, network problems or third-party outages. If a digital feature is unavailable, you can contact the hotel by email or telephone. Responsibility for loss is determined by applicable law and any valid terms agreed for the relevant service. Nothing on this page excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, removes mandatory consumer protections, or limits rights arising from an already concluded contract.
Privacy and contact
Personal-data processing is described in the Privacy Policy and related hotel data-protection documents. Consent is requested separately where required; merely reading these terms does not provide optional marketing consent. For a complaint, correction or question about the website, contact [email protected] and provide the information needed to identify the issue without sending unnecessary sensitive information.
Applicable law, language and updates
Austrian law applies insofar as it may validly be agreed, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections that apply in their country of residence. Court jurisdiction is determined by applicable law and any valid agreement for the transaction. Translations are provided to make the information accessible; they do not remove mandatory rights. If wording is unclear, ask the hotel for clarification before booking. Updates apply prospectively to the relevant website functions and do not retroactively change an existing booking or agreed terms.
